About Bailiwick Media Inc.

Bailiwick Media Inc. is a boutique consultancy founded by Emily Hurst, offering editorial, communications, operational, and marketing support for polo businesses, tournaments, and niche luxury lifestyle brands and events.

Emily’s background spans publishing, social media, sponsorship, club operations, editorial development, and client-facing business support, with a particular focus on the polo world and the wider luxury lifestyle space. Over the years, her work has included polo operations management and customer service, magazine production, long-form editorial, brand storytelling, event promotion and organization, sponsor-facing materials, and digital communications.

What distinguishes Bailiwick is an understanding of both the image and the supporting infrastructure. Well written copy, strong visual presentation, and refined messaging matter, but so do timing, logistics, relationships, and the day-to-day realities of how clubs, events, and small niche businesses actually function.

That dual perspective allows Bailiwick to create work that is not only polished and brand-aligned, but also credible, useful, and grounded in experience.

Projects have included editorial work for leading polo clubs in North America, sponsorship and communications support for major club initiatives, operational support for small niche businesses, and the organization and promotion of high-level women’s polo events.

Bailiwick was built to offer a kind of support that is often difficult to find in niche industries: tailored, approachable, polished assistance from someone who understands the culture of the space as well as the demands of the work.
